Do I have to install the software on my computer in order to use it?Yes. You will need to have administrator access to your computer to do this - please check with your ICT coordinator. How do I install the software on my computer?On most computers, the installation program will start automatically. If you have auto-run turned off, you will need to start the program manually: insert the disk, access the CD-ROM drive via the 'my computer' icon and double-click on the 'install' icon. You will find more information about installing the program in the insert booklet which accompanies each CD-ROM. Do I need to have the CD-ROM in the computer once I have installed the software?No, once the software has been installed, it does not require the CD-ROM to operate. Will the software run on a network?The Mult-e-Maths Toolbox cannot be installed on a network, but can be installed on multiple machines under the terms of its licence. How will Mult-e-Maths improve Maths teaching in my school?Mult-e-Maths is specifically designed to make use of the features offered by an interactive whiteboard to support whole class teaching; it also offers independent activities for children. Based around objectives from the National Numeracy Strategy framework, Mult-e-Maths Strands should fit in well with the rest of your planning. There are starters to recap previously learnt material, and lesson ideas which introduce new topics and offer plenary material for consolidation. The Mult-e-Maths Toolbox empowers teachers to create their own maths lessons, offering a wide range of maths tools. A Maths Dictionary for Kids provides child-friendly definitions of key mathematical vocabulary. Can I use my school's e-Learning Credits?Yes. The Mult-e-Maths Toolbox can be bought using e-Learning Credits. Can Mult-e-Maths be used on a Mac?The Mult-e-Maths Toolbox can only be used on a PC. I have installed Mult-e-Maths Toolbox, but I am getting the error message "PMT.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" and then the program shuts down.This is a known problem which only affects a small number of computers.
