4. Text menu
Five teaching focuses are provided for each text. Each focus provides the text, plus additional activity and enhancement material. You can also read a complete version of the text, which is read aloud from start to finish with automatic page turns. |

5. Starter
The starter screen features photos, an audio clip or video to set the scene for the unit, activate prior knowledge and engage the curiosity of the children. |

6. The Rhyme room
The ability to hear rhyme and play with rhyming patterns is an important factor in learning to read. The Rhyme Room offers a range of traditional rhymes that children will enjoy as well as helping to improve their phonic awareness and spelling. |

7. Text screen
Features of the text screens include:
- Click words highlighted in pink to read and hear a glossary definition.
- Click on the speaker icon to hear the page read aloud.
- Click on the ‘Q’ questions button to see questions relating to the material on screen.
- Click on the ‘highlight’ button to highlight examples of a particular (predetermined) language feature.
