AuthorsPaul HarrisonPaul Harrison has been involved in education, particularly mathematics education, for over 30 years. He was a teacher for 20 years, including 10 years as a headteacher. He has lecturered in primary mathematics education on BEd and PGCE courses at Oxford Brookes University and the College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth. He has authored and co-authored many primary mathematics books and CD-ROMS including the problem solving section of Mult-e-Maths (Cambridge-Hitachi) and Apex Maths: extension for all through problem solving (Cambridge University Press). He is particularly interested in helping children to think 'outside the box' when solving problems and in problem solving as a whole-class activity. |
